There is a lot of conversation around Damar Hamlin’s cardiac arrest on the field last night, but there is something else we noticed about the incident:
The team prayer on the field.
The NY Times’ headline this morning even reads, “Athletes and Fans Pray for Damar Hamlin After On-Field Collapse”.
Sure, some players typically pray on the field, individually and together, but to see an entire team gathered to pray…
There has been a growing opposition, even disdain, in our culture to prayer. We have even seen people criticize others for offering prayers to victims online in the midst of tragedies.
Last night reminded us that when shiz gets REAL, when life is on the line, people still pray. At the very least, they will kneel in respect as others do.
More of this, please.
Let’s all keep praying for Damar. 🙏🏻
In addition to praying, if you want to learn more about unexpected cardiac death, Commotio Cordis, myocarditis, etc…here is some great info from various sources to make you JUST THINK…
First, here is an assessment, interpretation/explanation and great questions from Dr McCullough and John Leake re: Damar Hamlin’s sudden collapse…
*Dr Alexander wrote a substack/opinion piece re: Damar
Interesting stats shared by Liz Wheeler...
*This is also a great substack with multiple sources by Dr Paul Alexander explaining Sudden Cardiac Death…
"Dying just before dawn"; the sudden and unexpected deaths we are seeing in young people are most likely from undiagnosed or asymptomatic vaccine-induced myocarditis; catecholamine surge!
50% or more of myocarditis cases are initially asymptomatic; young people don’t know they have myocarditis,”; scar forms, they don't know, then exert themselves, & heart stops (McCullough)
*Per Dr Meryl Nass….
Commotio Cordis occurs if there was no underlying cardiac lesion.
But if there was an underlying cardiac lesion (such as myocarditis) the term would not apply:
https://emedicine.medscape.com/article/902504-overview
Sudden unexpected cardiac death that occurs in young people during sports participation is usually associated with previously diagnosed or undiagnosed structural or primary electrical cardiac abnormalities. Examples of such abnormalities include hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, anomalous origin of a coronary artery, arrhythmogenic right ventricular cardiomyopathy, and primary electrical disorders, such as congenital prolongation of the QTc interval and catecholaminergic, polymorphic ventricular tachycardia (CPVT). [1] Sudden death due to ventricular fibrillation may also occur following a blunt, nonpenetrating blow to the chest, specifically the precordial area, in an individual with no underlying cardiac disease. This is termed commotio cordis. [2]
*Circling back to Damar…
Our first priority is to pray hard for Damar and his family.
At the end of the day, we won’t have any answers unless we look for them. We hope they do. We hope they are transparent. We hope this is a reminder to everyone that the greatest gift is what we already have…our breath, our life, our family, our friends, our health.
Take the time to make the call, send the message, to tell someone how grateful you are for them.
Thank you,
With love and gratitude…

Just Think: The Podcast
Since these players seem to be in the mood to pray, how about they pray for the millions of others who have either been murdered by mRNA injections or are suffering from them.
Tooo many athletes dropping dead the past two years. So sad! #NOamnesty
